Terms and Conditions for Career Circus Ltd website and services provided
Thank you for your interest in us here at Career Circus Ltd (hereby known as ‘Career Circus), we are very pleased to be working with you and helping you to advance your career. As with any service it is important that we are in agreement on the services that will be contracted for mutual benefit and protection. For that reason we have put together standard Terms and Conditions (T&C’S) which should be read and adhered to by anyone using or contracting our services.

Quality of Service: Career Circus prides itself on providing an exceptional service to all clients. All career ringmasters, coaches, career advisers, facilitators and trainers that work for Career Circus have been handpicked and chosen for their expertise and portfolio of successful results in their field. It is important to Career Circus that we offer supportive interventions to our clients that will help to move you forwards from your current situation. Our success is your success.
Principles, Standards & Confidentiality: All sessions and content discussed are held in confidence, furthermore all notes and personal records are kept in a secure location and your confidentiality will be maintained as is legally possible. This includes all personal details (name and email addresses) of those persons who have signed up for our newsletter, events or joined the members area of the Career Circus website.
We follow the Association for Coaching (AC) ‘Code of Ethics and Good Practice’. Please refer to the AC website for further details. As an organisation and through Chief Ringmaster Saffron Rolph-Wills we are also actively involved or an accredited member of a number of professional bodies and comply with professional standards as outlined by industry guidance and best practice. This includes:
- Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR),
- The Association of Graduate Career Advisory Services (AGCAS),
- The Career Development Institute (CDI),
- The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD),
- Association for Coaching (AC),
- International Coaching Federation (ICF),
- European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC),
- The Association of Neuro Linguistic Practitioners (ANLP),
- Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL).
In addition, Saffron is also accredited as an MBTI facilitator, an accredited interpreter for the McQuaig Psychometric Tests and accredited in NHS specific Leadership and OD/Coaching programmes and as such is a tHealthcare Leadership Model (HLM) accredited facilitator, Mary Seacole leadership programme facilitator and registered Coach and Mentor on the East of England Coaching register.
All coaches and advisers that work for Career Circus have regular supervision, training and feedback both internally and externally through Coaching Supervisors to ensure they keep to high standards. We continuously monitor and evaluate our services to get the best results for our clients. We also welcome feedback and recommendations on ways to improve our services.
Using our services: The client is responsible for his or her own achievements and success. Career Circus cannot and does not promise that the client will take any specific action or attain specific goals. The role of Career Circus is to support clients on their journey and to provide expert resources to assist them. Career Circus does not provide personal counselling or psychotherapy to clients and will refer clients to seek alternative services via their GP if this service is needed. Career Circus is not permitted/qualified to give advice on working permits and visas, legal employee rights or job seeker benefits and again will signpost clients to relevant authorities who can help with this.
In the unlikely event that a client is unhappy with the quality of services they have been provided with, then in the first instance they should feed this back to the relevant Career Circus member of staff that they have been liaising with. If the client does not feel able to do this or feels their feedback has not been taken into consideration then they should contact lead coach and Career Circus Chief Ringmaster Saffron Rolph-Wills outlining the nature and details of their complaint in writing (email@example.com). Complaints will be dealt with in a timely, professional and confidential manner.
All clients who are receiving one2one coaching or organisations that are contracting us to deliver services within their organisation will receive an additional tailored Coaching Agreement/Service Level Agreement (as relevant) prior to signing an agreement for services. Allowing time for agreements to be read, agreed and signed before services are provided.
Arrangement of Sessions & Cancellation procedure: Sessions (including all one2one and group sessions) will be arranged in person, on the phone or via skype. Full arrangements, including timings and an outline of what will be covered in that session will be confirmed by Career Circus in the week leading up to the date of the session (if not before). It is important that clients recognise that any session they book on to as a priority and commit to attend at the agreed time. Clients who arrive late to sessions will only be able to access the time remaining in their dedicated time slot and may compromise the quality of the session.
Where clients arrive late or do not show for their booked session they will still be charged the full cost of the session. On the occasion that clients are unable to make a session, 48 hours notice is required from the client to reschedule or cancel any sessions without incurring a charge. Where this is not possible (emergencies) then Career Circus may be able to re-schedule the session.
If your allocated Career Ringmaster is unable to conduct the session we will do our upmost to provide a suitable substitute. Where a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled by Career Circus we will give you at least 48 hours notice. If for any reason we are unable to do this we will offer you a full refund to the same monetary value and redeemable when purchasing any other Career Circus services or products.
Payment and Fees: Unless otherwise stated payment is required prior to your allocated session. Individual clients can pay for their sessions online via our website through our appointment booking system or events booking pages by online secure transfer through Paypal. Payment can also be made in person at our Career Circus Basecamp by cash or card. If you require a receipt for your personal or organisational records please let us know at the time of booking.
Career Circus Ltd Copyright & ownership of content: All content, images and branding are exclusively owned by Career Circus Ltd. This includes content in our newsletters, emails, Toolkits and other guides written by Career Circus, including blogs written by Career Circus and our guest bloggers. All branding including logo, slogans and images are also owned by Career Circus. This also includes photos and videos which we have on our website, promotional material (leaflets, posters and brochures) and images and content posted on our Social media platforms.
Use of any of the above is prohibited without prior permission from Career Circus. Partner organisations or clients who would like to reference/link to Career Circus or use our logo are requested to email us firstname.lastname@example.org outlining the full use intended and we will respond to your query in line with our branding guidelines and internal regulations.
